About Us

Your Trust is Our Priority

When you trust your payroll to us, you will gain confidence and peace of mind knowing you aren’t spending time and financial resources on fines and taxes you don’t owe, and trying to resolve IRS issues that take you away from your mission. For more than 10 years, we have worked diligently to partner with our clients so that payroll is no longer a pain point of operations.

From 1… to 100 Employees and Beyond

Whether there’s only 1 employee or 100 employees on payroll, your people need and deserve to be paid on time, with reporting done properly. When you work with Forest Acres Payroll, you have direct access to your payroll account manager. When you have a question, you call and your account manager answers. You know us and we know you—and know the history of your account.

Rebecca Neal Tompkins, CEO, Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

Rebecca is Owner and CEO of Forest Acres Payroll. She holds the Certified Payroll Professional designation from the American Payroll Association, their highest level of certification.

Rebecca has a wealth of experience working for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. She is a member of The Payroll Group (TPG) and the American Payroll Association (APA). These affiliations ensure she and the company stay up to date on the latest payroll legislation.

Outside of work, Rebecca is involved in St. Andrew by-the-Sea UMC, where her husband, Jonathan, serves as senior pastor. She volunteers with her church in various roles, enjoys working out and staying active (the kids take care of that!), and works hard to create a healthy work/life balance for herself, her family and her employees. Rebecca also serves as vice chair of the South Carolina United Methodist Conference Board of Pensions and Health Benefits.

Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in music (piano) from Furman University and a Master of Mass Communications from The University of South Carolina. In addition to maintaining the Certified Payroll Professional designation, she has completed an 80-hour payroll practice management course through Greenville Technical College. Rebecca is a graduate of Leadership Grand Strand Class 31, a program of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
